Midtown Manhattan Acupuncture Clinic

I am a licensed acupuncturist and nationally certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine practicing in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.

In New York, acupuncturists practice as independent general practitioners. Our training is at the Master’s degree level, and is comprised of 3500 hours of didactic and clinical practice. My particular interests have led me to complete additional studies in the following areas: Dermatology, Men’s Health and Pain Management.

Practice Philosophy

I practice holistically, treating the whole person not just the disease, and by supporting and nurturing the body’s own ability to heal. I believe in integrative medicine – I’m happy to be a part of your healthcare team. I am an acupuncturist, and I am also an herbalist. Chinese herbal medicine is an important part of my treatment plans, and I recommend herbal medicine to almost every one of my patients. I also use Tuina medical massage, moxibustion, cupping, Guasha, and dietary therapy with nutrition supplements as part of my practice.

Insurance Coverage

I am an in-network provider for Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

Out-of-network coverage is available for the following insurance plans:

  • Cigna
  • Aetna
  • United Healthcare

Coverage must be confirmed before your first appointment as some insurance plans do not cover acupuncture. If you hope to use your insurance to pay for acupuncture, I will need your full name, plan name, member ID, group ID, date of birth and insurance company contact information to confirm your eligibility. A copay will be due at the time of your visit.
